Kindred Curiosity
Branding & Marketing Design
Kindred Curiosity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering community for Asian diaspora women, is expanding its digital series and offline events to deepen engagement across both online and in-person spaces.
Moodboards were created to guide visual directions, and key solutions were prioritized through founder and marketing reviews. Final designs were refined in iterations and validated with continuous feedback from stakeholders and beta audiences.
Ultimately, the event and content concepts were translated into digital assets and event printings to support the overall campaign and strengthen community presence.

Quarterly Event Visual Design
Context & Process
Kindred Curiosity’s quarterly event, co-hosted with Golden Guide, was themed “Meet Who You’re Becoming,” focusing on genuine connection and shared vulnerability. To translate this vision into design, I began with collaborative brainstorming and mood board curation to align on tone and priorities. After presenting three distinct directions, the final identity combined the warmth and fluidity of Direction 1 with the clarity and structure of Direction 3. This approach shaped a cohesive visual system across graphics, social media, and event signage, balancing emotional resonance with professional polish.




Outcome
10+ Physical and digital visuals were created and released to support the event experience.
The full event cycle was promoted across Instagram in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
Social Media Content Design
Context & Process
Community series were presented on major social media channels, primarily Instagram, featuring the Community Gatherings & Workshop as casual, intimate meetups for women of the Asian Diaspora bringing them together to connect, share resources, and support one another through shared experiences. I created cohesive social media post designs and themed illustrations for our casual meetups to encourage engagement and participation.

Outcome
20+ Digital Assets were conceptualized and delivered for community Gatherings & Workshops, enhancing brand visibility and supporting community events.
10+ small business owners were highlighted through our Small Biz Series, generating significant organic reach and positioning Kindred Curiosity as a trusted platform for entrepreneurial storytelling.

Context & Process
Based on community feedback, the current website did not engage users or align visually with our branding. As the designer on the team, I led the website revamp, creating digital assets and illustrations to enhance the visual appeal and establish a clear hierarchy by refining the layout.
